Our story began in the 1980s, when Cath started designing political photomontages at her kitchen table, turning them into postcards that sparked conversation. Inspired by this success, she began publishing cards and postcards featuring the work of pioneering female cartoonists of the era—and just like that, Cath Tate Cards was born!

In 2011, Cath’s daughter Rosie joined the business. Together, we’ve continued to grow, always staying true to our passion for humour, artistry, and the power of connection.

We’re big believers in supporting independent artists. Alongside our in-house collections, we proudly showcase designs by an incredible lineup of cartoonists, illustrators, and creatives. It’s our way of celebrating artistic talent and offering something unique to our customers.

From our South London base, we’re honoured to supply independent shops across the globe. Seeing our cards on shelves halfway around the world still gives us a thrill—and it’s the reason we love what we do.
